ENGINEERING FOR KIDS
Constructing an automatic door, a car, a lift or a bike is one thing, constructing it to see it work automatically is a new level of this game. You will design objects that really work by themselves! This means you will learn to follow a plan, keep balanced structures (that they don't break or fall down), make sure the car or bike doesn't lose a wheel, that the engine is stable, etc. This is called structure engineering and it's a great way to learn accuracy and other practical techniques.
CODING SKILLS
When the structure of your creation (car, bike, robot, etc) is ready, it's time to start programming the brain of it. You will use your computer to access the brain of your robot and will program it so that it moves, lifts, sounds and does what you had in mind. Coding a robot will be a brand new level of fun for you... now it's not a game in a screen, now is a moving creation... your creation!
HIPER VISUAL CODING
Now your robot is moving, talking, jumping... but it might also be falling, breaking, crashing :) Now is time for you and your robotics team-mate (yes, in robotics we work by couples) to test and perfection your robot.
